Project Manager
Live Remote Assistant Program for
People with Hearing Impairments
Abilicorp is an outsourcing, Employment Company primarily for people with disabilities. We do staffing and placement. We also provide ongoing support such as personal advising, benefits counseling, financial planning and adaptive technology evaluation.
The Live Remote Assistant Program will be a division of Abilicorp that employs people with disabilities, working from a call center or from their homes, to assist other people with disabilities function more easily and effectively in their daily lives. Existing technology, such as mobile phones and web conferencing technology will be used. Emerging technology, such as a mobile web-cam, will be developed.
Abilicorp wants to hire an enthusiastic and energetic Project Manager to run a 90-day pilot for the Live Remote Assistant Program for people with hearing impairments. The Project Manager will be responsible for all activities such as;
Responsibilities:
Work with Abilicorp CEO to:
Document processes and procedures for Live Remote Assistants
Develop success criteria for pilot
Develop evaluation process for pilot
Develop marketing strategy and materials
Develop scheduling processes and procedures
Develop payment processes and procedures for the pilot
Recruit, train, and supervise Live Remote Assistants
Recruit people with hearing impairments to participate in the pilot
Develop strategy and plans for rollout
Requirements:
Passion for working with and assisting people
Good oral and written skills
Good organization skills
Experience running pilot projects
Experience working with people with disabilities and the Deaf Community
Must be current client of the Department of Rehabilitation
