Abilicorp Assistive Technology Program
Abilicorp recognizes the importance of assistive technology to people with disabilities. Not only must the right technology be found for an individual with a disability, but it must also be seamlessly integrated into the work environment, maintained on a regular basis, and periodically upgraded. The strong technological background of the Abilicorp Staff and Board of Directors ensures every Associate receives the technology they need and can use the technology efficiently and effectively.
Most assistive technologies are not commercially advertised and thus are unknown to people who may need them. Abilicorp plans to build a comprehensive online catalog of assistive technology. AbiliNet members are encouraged to recommend additions to our online catalog by letting Abilicorp know what assistive technology they are aware of and/or use. Members will also be able to write reviews, informing their community of the practicality and usability of specific technologies. Purchasing assistive technology directly from this online catalog will also be available.
